Privacy Policy

EightSaf collects nothing. Your wallet data never leaves your device. We have no servers, no accounts, and no analytics.
1. Data we do not collect
We do not collect, transmit, store, or share:
- Your name, email address, or any personal information
- Your recovery phrase or private keys
- Your wallet address or balances
- Your transaction history
- Your IP address or location
- Any browsing activity or web history
2. Data stored locally on your device
The EightSaf extension stores the following data exclusively in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local), on your device only:
- Your encrypted recovery phrase (AES-256-GCM encryption, protected by your spending password)
- Your public wallet address
- Your wallet name and display preferences
This data never leaves your device. It is never sent to EightSaf or any third party.
3. Blockchain interactions
When you check your balance, view transaction history, or broadcast a transaction, the extension communicates directly with Safrochain public blockchain nodes (rpc.safrochain.com / rest.safrochain.com). Your public wallet address is included in these requests, as is standard for all blockchain operations. These requests do not include your recovery phrase, password, or any personal data.
4. No third-party services
EightSaf does not integrate any analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking services. There are no third-party SDKs in the extension.
5. Security
Your recovery phrase is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored. The encryption key is derived from your spending password and never stored in plaintext. Even if someone had access to your device's storage, they could not read your recovery phrase without your password.
6. Children's privacy
EightSaf is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect any information from minors.
7. Changes to this policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and notify users via the extension update notes.
